Great value for the money. Not compatible with
It reads the check engine codes and also sees them up on the internet for you.
When you download the TORQUE app, it takes about 30 seconds before it starts reading the car's computer, but then it streams all the data live in real-time. It also shows all of the engine stats live. Such as MPH, fuel level, MPG, and RPM, you can customize what to show and how to display it.
The adapter even works with your phone via bluetooth, so you can connect it to your other cars if needed. It reads hundreds of stats - you will never use all the features it has, but it's great that it has them all.
There are also displays that save your maximum and minimum readings and you can set warning alarms. In case you are watching the engine temp or just timing your best 0 to 60.
Here are the steps listed below if anyone is having connection issues with the device. It is especially common if you forget to remove the device after swapping out your battery.
